Birds and Other Wildlife

We arrived late into Zumaia in our motorhome for a one night stopover. We enquired at Camping Bungalows Zumaia but they wanted to charge over 35 for two persons for 18 hours max. We turned around and parked in this free aire amidst an industrial estate instead. Quite a few other motorhomes parked up in the car park and along the river frontage. We managed to fill up with fresh water, empty our grey waste and park up with a lovely river view. There was no noticeable noise or disturbance from the road or factories and convenient for the town centre. Zumaia (and many other Spanish towns) is perhaps missing a trick with the provision of a public toilet to encourage motorhomers to stay and spend their money in their town centres.

Zona industrial que se utiliza como zona de caravanas, es un sitio tranquilo al lado de una tía, bastante tranquilo, sin baños ni duchas, ni zonas de aguas. Cerca del pueblo, y todo el centro, ya que caminando está bastante cercano.

Aparcamiento correcto para pasar la noche o dejar la AC durante el día y visitar Zumaia. Sin servicios, a excepción de una fuente, por la noche está muy iluminado. Al estar en un polígono industrial hay ruido ambiental.

Está bien... pero es una pena el área de autocaravanas...... Mucho ruido industrial y la zona está muy descuidada por suciedad ( autocaravanas)........

Un sitio muy tranquilo, llano en un polígono industrial a orillas del Urola con un paseo muy bonito hasta el pueblo de Zumaia.

No es un área para nada. Simplemente un polígono industrial en el que suele haber sitio para estacionarse. Los fines de semana se juntan muchas autocaravanas.
