We had rented an apartment 1min away from the square and its definitely perfect location for to start your Toledo tour. Interesting architecture mixed with the story of Don Quichote, multiple restaurants and a short walk to a nice valley view. Good spot to grab a bus or taxi if needed. Quality sweets (Marzepan ) available. Definitely recommended spot.

Fantastic place in the town of Toledo, Spain .. approx. 80kms from Madrid so in safe zine. If its history you want this is the Place to go..3 cultures.. Jewish, christian and Arabic.. place where the phrase \Holy Toledo\ comes from due to highest number of churches in one city.. so much to see, wonderful unique shops and definitely hire a local guide.. we had Daniel so knowledgeable .. tku Daniel .. absolutely fantastic 3 days.. also many interesting places along the way by road or train from Barcelona... highly recommend !!

You haven’t been to Toledo unless you have checked out Zocodover Plaza. The historic former souk / central market square during Moorish Times is now the hustling centre of this historic city of three civilizations and and religions. Sit on one of the benches and just watch the world go by or have a meal or a drink at one of the many cafes in the square.
