Stayed here for 2 nights, would have stayed longer but we were on our way to an event in the north. It's location is absolutely stunning. The church tower and buildings around look like the remnants of a village. Within a few steps from the site you can see amazing views of the reservoir. It was so peaceful. There are bungalows and a few seasonal pitches (all together) so it's busy at weekends. We arrived on Sunday and left on Tuesday. Unfortunately during that time the toilets / washing up sinks weren't cleaned. Given the numbers of people there when we arrived that was a little disappointing. Given the Covid situation, a bit worrying. The mens toilets ran out of toilet paper on Sunday night. The high speed train track is close but the noise is not intrusive. We went for a walk towards the reservoir and were surrounded by beautiful butterflies and stunning scenery.

Like an oasis in a desert- it was absolutely lovely. Spectacular drive to get there the views were wonderful. The welcome was friendly, the facilities were spotless and the small swimming pool was very clean.
We stayed here for a week. We were not tempted by the bar restaurant (seemed expensive) or the swimming pool (seemed a bit small and was hidden from the main areas). The reception was friendly and was able to provide useful local information. The fresh bread, available from the kitchen, was useful as it saved us having to go out to find bread each day. We had a couple of decent walks direct from the site and enjoyed hearing and watching the passing high speed trains and the associated engineering infrastructure.
Excellent camping in rural setting. Good facilities including café and restaurant.
Great site, lovely walk to reservoir. Restaurant /bar has great service
