València, Spain
Carrer d'Alacant, 2,

.. gorgeous example of turn of the twentieth century 'modernista' architecture; truly as beautifully detailed inside as it is imposingly grand outside, and both as historic as it is iconic...if the city of Valencia were to be celebrated for its pastel tinted fashioned buildings then the Estació del Nord would be its fairytale Wedding Cake ..

Clean and the staff very helpful. The train scene are displayed inside, very easy to follow.
Very helpful staff. Well organized. Beautiful station.
This station is named for the Caminos de Hierro del Norte de España Railways of the North of Spain, the railway company that constructed it and opened it in 1917, It was declared a Good of Cultural Heritage, a type of listed monument in 1987.
Beautiful place to visit. Make sure to see all the details in the roof and walls. Also the wooden ticket counters are pretty cool.
Beautiful train station!
Major transport hub in and out of Valencia with local metro, local overground, national and international railway links with it's sister station a few minutes walk away. Located in the heart of Valencia next to the Plaza de Toros, the architecture is beautiful, I love the tiles in the booking hall and the high ceilings of the arrival/ departure area. Lots of good and shopping opportunities and regular exhibitions as well.
Very cared the building. Also very easy to find your train
