Very good hotel, certainly one of the best, if not the best in Valencia. But 5 star GL, that to me is not really correct. I have stayed in many 5 star hotels world wide and to me, Las Arenas is not in the same league. Evenso, it is an excellent hotel, with comfortable rooms, in a very nice position at the beach/sea and I would specifically like to mention the very friendly staff. Also the restaurant (under the Covid-19 circumstances) is very good, with a nice wine list and very well prepared food. I stayed a total of 11 nights and had a very pleasant stay in Las Arenas.

Beautiful hotel, lovely attentive staff. Great swimming pool and lots of nice areas to sit around the hotel grounds. Good range of drinks, coffees and alcoholic drinks. Didn't try the food. Great location right off the beach. Well connected by public transport and taxis easy to get from outside the hotel.
Wonderful hotel in the best location in Valencia. Top equipped and spacious rooms. 5 * sea view. Excellent service. Highly recommended: the indescribably sumptuous breakfast buffet. Five stars plus at a fair price are well deserved.
Nice hotel with great views of the sea. Very pretty lobby and patio (that faces a large fountain and past the hedges, the sea). The room was good sized. The bathroom was large with a double sink, toilet, bidet, bathtub and high tech corner shower. The room had a desk, chair, and closet. There was a coffee machine. No iron in the room but one was brought up quickly when requested. The concierge was very friendly and helpful. Checkin was speedy. The hotel is approx 2.5 miles from the downtown area (we walked) but there are multiple restaurants near the hotel. There is a club near the hotel that plays music until 4am so if you’re a light sleeper maybe avoid the rooms that are near the club. The pool, gym, and spa areas looked quite nice.
Beautiful hotel by the beach in Valencia. The facility are complete and nice (swimming pool, gym, children playground, restaurant, etc). They have a majestic fountain which is instagrammable. The staffs are nice and helpful, while the food is overall OK. Recommended!
A very luxurious hotel directly at the beach. very nice and friendly staff. easy to reach even by Tram (called Metro..,) Line 4 or 6 stations close to the hotel..
We stayed here from 24th to 27th December, 4 adults occupying 2 sea facing rooms. The staff were excellent from the moment we arrived to when we left. In view of the Covid restrictions everyone ensured that rules were adhered to in the politest of manners. Forgotten your mask? There was always one available. We loved the position of the hotel in relation to the beach, the excellent promenade and nearby bars and restaurants. Due to the catering restrictions breakfast was served to us rather than the usual buffet and was the same price but not the same value for money. We partook of the gala dinner on 24th but were rather disappointed with the quality of the meal. One of our party had lobster with hardly anything to eat and a piece of beef which was like a chunk of stewing steak! She definitely drew the short straw! Last year we were in Malaga at another H-S hotel where the gala dinner was excellent. On Christmas Day we had dinner in the Sorolla restaurant and the quality was considerably better - was this a different chef on duty?? On the third evening we visited the nearby restaurant Las Aduanas which was excellent - maybe their chef should be ‘stolen’?? We look forward to visiting the hotel under ‘normal’ circumstances. Adherence to Covid restrictions was excellent and we felt extremely safe and comfortable there. Thank you for a lovely Christmas stay.
