Visitor center was informative (in English) and they suggested a driving tour through this amazing landscape as most byroads for hiking were closed off due to bird nesting season. Want to return at some point for the interesting scenery and some hiking.

Most of the center (past the information desk) seemed to be closed - with no reason apparent to us. Disappointed, as we'd have liked to have been better informed about the Bardenas. The guide book and map set (available also in English) was however very informative and useful - well worth 7 : but remember to also ask for the smaller format of the map as well, as it is not only more up to date, but also free!

Great 34k drive in spectacular scenery. Bumpy road so not for the faint hearted but we did it in our big motor home ok
