Visited with the family and was craving some fish and chips on the last day of our holiday, absolutely delicious. Not sure if it is just my imagination but you could taste the freshness of the fish as though it had just been fished out the same day! Really really delicious spot for a good ol' fish n chips with mushy peas. The owners were two lovely British women who were very sociable, talked with us in a very friendly manner, wouldn't have been happier buying fish and chips anywhere else :)

This is the best place without a doubt for fresh food and the best fish and chips around. The prices are good, service fantastic and friendly staff. It is popular with residents and holiday makers alike. Not to be missed.

We have had takeaway twice during our holiday. We have had fish and chips, kebab, steak pie, cheese n onion pie, chicken n mushroom pie, mushy peas, gravy and beans. The pies are homemade and the best we have had in a long time, proper Northern home made pies, the mushy peas are home made too. Everything we had was delicious, couldn't fault it. Much better than our local chippy back in the UK, the customer service is great, very welcoming. Thank you

We came here tonight as a family of 6 and was really looking forward to what was suppose to be the best fish and chips but the chips were hard and over cooked, and the fish was suppose to be fresh cod but this was not fresh, and think it was pollock. The prices were over priced and was charged 1.75 for the smallest pot of curry sauce.. Won't go back, sorry. The lady was lovely but that was about it.
