I spent 10 days with the school and can only highly recommend it. The contact before arrival has already been great including a warm welcome on the first day. The lesson has been adapted perfectly to the different skill levels of the students. The great knowledge of Jamie and Dan made me improve a lot during these days, especially in long term. Next to all the high quality teaching I always felt super comfortable with the guys and it was a lot of fun! I would always recommend that school and looking forward to go back soon myself!!

Spent 3 days surfing with surf school lanzarote and it's been an amazing experience. In the past I've taken courses and learned some things through video tutorials, but the instructors at Surf School Lanzarote are so knowledgeable that the feedback they provide really allows you to progress fast, regardless of your level. I like to think of myself as a surfer that's transitioning from novice to intermediate and while I did manage to ride some proper waves in the past, but the past three days have taught me what I was doing wrong and how to correct it. What sets Surf School Lanzarote apart from other schools (I've had classes in Portugal, Bali and Gran Canaria) is that they do not just teach you how to surf, they teach you how to be a surfer. So aside from teaching and providing feedback on the physical side of surfing, you're also taught the historical, mental, material and cultural aspects of surfing. For example, some time of each class is dedicated at how you can improve your surfing at home. So even if surfing conditions are less than ideal, each class contributes to you getting ready to surf better in great conditions. In short: highly recommended surf school for people that want to learn all aspects of surfing.
Brilliant team of instructors! After 7 years of on &off surfing and being stuck as an advanced beginner, I finally felt like I can definitely progress. Instructors, WATCH and INSPECT you on the waves very closely and give just the right tips to fix whatever is wrong or could be improved. In addition, I got so much information and every time it felt like we just scratch the surface, there's so much more to learn. I have only one of four classes left and despite my attempt to change the trip and stay longer it seems like I'll need to come back some other time. Would definitely recommend to anyone dying to improve their surfing!
Without doubt the best school to learn surfing. The coaching is well structured with special attention on safety and technique that sets you well to become a confident surfer. The program does not provide you shortcuts (and is not for someone looking for a photo while standing on a board) but provides you the right toolkit for you to learn as you go along in your surfing journey. The online classes, and the mid-day/ post surfing sessions help you to appreciate the complexities of waves, boards, currents etc that compounds your learning when you go back into the water next day. I have had the fortune of learning from Tim (at the Sri Lanka center) and could not have got a better coach as an intermediate / beginner level surfing.
It was my first time on a surfboard ever and I was so surprised that I could surf 2-3 feet high waves just in a few hours. The instructor is so professional and really cares about you. He did not only make sure that I stand on the board and surf but also that I do it right. Since the beginning, the communication with the school was very smooth, the owner is a gentleman. When we arrived at the school we met our instructor who is very competent and knows what he is doing. Then we finally drove to the beach and oh boy... that beach is the beach I have ever seen with my eyes. The weather was perfect and the waves were ideal, good vibes all along. We started with a bit of theory which is very important and useful and then we jumped into the sea to have some fun. I am definitely coming back again, 100% recommended
