Really interesting and amazing to see the inside of a sub and how the crew used to live. You can also go on the Albatross coastal defense boat. Audio tour in multi languages by way of a recording as you walk around. Recommended and inexpensive too.

Very nice and interesting museum. If you've only seen submarines in movies, this is a place to go to see the real deal. The tickets are cheap and the experience is great. You can feel the cramped space and walk the aisles that've actally seen duty.

Not the longest tour in the World, but for 2 euros a good way to spend an hour.

This is a great little (floating) museum to visit. For 2 you get to visit an old high speed customs boat and a Class 60 submarine. Both are interesting, particularly the sub and as an audio tour is included you get good descriptions of the various parts of both. On the sub you get a real feel for how hard life would have been. There is also a range of maritime artifacts on the dockside to look at like torpedoes and guns. The museum is easily accessed from the southern end of the promenade. There's also a pay car park close by behind the craft market huts.

Really Interesting, friendly staff, the audio tour was available in plenty of different languages. My family thoroughly enjoyed it.

Superb value for money, just 2 each hmgives you access all areas for the submarine, customs boat and all artifacts on the Quay side. There are headphone tours available, we were lucky enough to be taken round by a friend who is an ex submariner so didn't use the headphones but others who did said they were good and available in many languages. Would definitely recommend this as a little activity but although there is lift access into the submarine it's not really suitable unless you have reasonable mobility. Kids live it, we enjoyed it, so much so I'd go again.
