Fantastic experience of a local cheese farm, where you can walk around and see the facilities, the view's of the fields around, and see the local produce, they make great cheeses, sobrasada and carnixullas, you can enjoy a taster of all the products. Highly recommended, very enjoyable for family visits.

Five generations of cheesemakers have honed the craft to make an incredible offering of cheese ranging in age from 2 months to 1 year. I've enjoyed some of the winningest cheese in the world, and Subaida stands among them. I recommend visitors pay for the tour; hearing about the history is well worth the price, and so is the cheese and wine tasting at the end! If you are an English speaker visiting in the low season, it may be worthwhile to email them to schedule the tour by filling out the form on their website.
