Referred to the neurologist hospital from the Denia practice with my very sick dog. On the 1st day meningitis was diagnosed, exhaustive tests followed to confirm and to ensure no other condition was overlooked. Prompt treatment has helped the dog very much and now a recovery is expected after a month on targeted medication. I would rate my experience at the hospital during a very worrying time as excellent.

Following surgery to remove bladder stones at our local vet's, our 3yo dog Ron experienced complications as a result of a severe post-op infection and an internal bleed. Our vet sensibly referred us to a specialist at the Anicura hospital in Valencia where he was admitted immediately. A full round of different diagnostics was employed and he was operated on the next morning, and stayed there for 5 days to ensure he could be safely discharged into our care for further recuperation. The communication from start to finish from the team was frequent, and regular, with us and our local vet, to keep us updated on his progress. A check up visit today saw Ron desperate to get in! and to see the vets, nurses and reception staff who had obviously looked after him brilliantly for us. Ron now thinks he's 'better' but we have a little way to go. We highly recommend the team at Anicura

Expect more than four hours on the first day. No information after surgery (they lied they didn't have our phone but had the email). The result of the surgery was terrible. Very expensive. A robbery to make my dog ten times worse than it was. Before surgery they said it would be 600 euros. then charged 1,200. the least they should do is give back the money. Today my little dog only feeds and drinks water through syringes, because the hole in her mouth is so big that she can't eat by herself. They consider themselves experts. but only specialize in charging. I don’t recommend.

Excellent care for our dog by highly professional, kind and compassionate staff. Imagine de horror when, after a walk on the beach in El Saler, a fishing line was dangling from the mouth of our dog... she had found and swallowed a fish with the hook still inside (apparantly this is quite common around Valencia). We found AniCura online and chose it because of the many positive reviews and because of it’s 24/7 service. Because we don’t speak Spanish, the hospital went out of their way to translate into English all the necessary steps they had to take to remove the 4cm hook from our dog’s stomach. Excellent after care (we were only allowed to pick up our dog when she was fully awake) and we received a folder with all the test results etc. I hope you don’t need a vet, but if you do, this is an excellent hospital.
