Was there in Seville walking around .. arrived lunch time... I was walking pass the cathedral when I saw this place making lunch menu. So I decided to try. The waiter and waitresses were very polite. The menu some of the options were sold out so I could not taste their paella. You have a menu in English and Spanish. The food portions were well present and delicious. Prices were ok. You can pay with card or cash.
Very ungrateful and unpolite server this morning. The place was empty and my husband and I were told twice \NO\ to seat were we liked... She justified her rudness by saying that the spot we wanted to seat on was for 4 and 8 people (couch areas) and then pointed to a row of tables with 6 seats... ??? Just made no sense and we decided to go next door to La Canasta for breakfast which was very good and people seemed happy to deal with us :)
We absolutely loved this little spot! We arrived into Seville pretty late on a Tuesday night and were struggling to find a good spot that was still serving dinner food. Giselle and Ale welcomed us in and took great care of us while we were getting familiar with the city. The food was outstanding and the service was fast and very good as well. We would absolutely recommend this place to anybody traveling to Seville and needing a convenient dinner spot with a local atmosphere. Thank you Giselle and Ale!!
It has been a while. In November 2019 I found Café Génova during my Seville vacation. I was there for breakfast and coffee every day. The Café Génova is friendly and cozy. The next time I'm in Seville, I'll be happy to come back!
