We were here on the Thursday before Good Friday. As it is the Holy Week, the Paseo (statue) of Christ was taken down from the main hall and erected on one of the procession platforms, to be carried around the city. It was really majestic.

loved this place. its not as crowded as the rest of seville, and there is a huge sculpture of Jesus that people kneel and kiss the heel of the sculpture. Its a very spiritual and respectful place

Jesus of the Great Power is a magnificent sculpture admired by locals and foreigners.... especially in his procession of La Madruga during Holy Week. For me as a pilgrim, it was a wonderful trip from Los Angeles to visit and thank Jesus, knowledge as the Lord of Seville.

There was a begger at the entrance and such opulance inside. Yes the begger was probably a bit of a scam but the point remains.
