A beautiful monastery near to old town. There is also a small museum inside there that I could not visit.

It was mostly empty inside but there were some old tombs and ancient Latin writings. There is big garden at the back of it, it very peaceful. Also if you go upstairs there is an exhibition of history from the oldest to till now. It was very pleasing however I wish they had enough English explanations. Mostly explanations are in Catalan.
Make sure you buy the multi-ticket and get discount on 5 more sites. Museum is super interesting, with artifacts from the Paleolithic era to the end of Antiquity. GOT fans will recognise the Citadel reception area. Oh and remember to ask about the Mermaid!
If you are a Game of Thrones fan, visiting the city of Bravos (Girona) is an absolute must... It could be some of the top things you do in Spain/Barcelona if you plan correctly... something to stress is choosing the correct guide to take you, paying a little more, and getting a less rushed and knowledgable guide is worth more than going cheap and spoiling the experience...
Empty when we arrived there at 1pm on a Wednesday. Lovely and cool in the cloisters. Well presented exhibits with some English translations (but not for all exhibits). There's a small kids activity area. Beautiful example of Romanesque architecture.
