Marvelous city. All the glamour of cinema is breathable in the air.
Staff where very knowledgeable and helpful
This is a truly great City and well worth a visit. We got here by the local commuter train from Hendaye in France. About an hour's journey. The City is compact and easy to get around. The old town has a number of old narrow streets with plenty of architectural interest. We ate in one of the many restaurants and enjoyed a good 3-course meal with wine for 18 each. We took the steep walk up to the old castle and gardens that offers great views over the city and bay. Then took a walk along the pristine beach - well worth it. If you think Spain is all about kiss-me-quick-costa-resorts then think again. This is a cultured and thoroughly modern place that merits a visit. Aye. Fraser.
