If you are in Almería you definitely need to visit this place. There are some nice views on the way from Cabo de Gata village. The lighthouse itself doesn't have too much interest but the landscape deserves a visit. If you are from the north of Spain you could get disappointed, since there's nothing you haven't seen before, apart from the dryness of the landscape. If you like hiking, climbing to the top of the hills and admire the views is worth the hassle The best: the little coves along the coast. The worst: too much litter in a supposedly protected area.
