It's a beautiful place. You can swim in the ice cold water. I do recommend that you bring some water with you, but, as said on the site, food is prohibited. The reservation of the parking costs around 6 for a whole day. You don't have to park there, but if you don't you'll have to walk a long distance. You do need to book a place 24 hours in advance, otherwise you'll not get in.

Beautiful - definitely worth a visit if you're in the area
Spectacular place and geology. Avoid the crowd during the week
Amazing. Went here because we had been to the Bodega Monastrell winery just around the corner and thought might as well as we're here anyway. It was so nice, probably one of the nicest places I've been. I went in mid April, the water was pretty cold when I first got in and I nearly didn't go all the way. Once I was in, it wasn't too bad and it was only about 20c. I can imagine it gets ridiculously busy in the summer so if you're English and used to it a bit colder, I think it would be a good idea to go before June or after August. There were only about 10 other people there when I was there but it's a fairly small place so it wouldn't be as nice with many more. It was about 15/20 min walk from thre car park that Google takes you to and well worth the walk. I'll definitely be coming back, probably with the kids and some friends.
Incredible place that you will enjoy best with no one around so don't wait til the weekend or the hotter day in the summer
