July, 2016: I have had a WONDERFUL four weeks here at La Residencia Universitaria Lourdes Delgado Gil! Everything the other 5-star raters said is absolutely true. The location is unbeatable - right up the street from La Plaza Mayor. Super close to major streets and bus lines. Carmen is an AMAZING cook! I never ate out because why would I? Fantastic food is right here! The price is super reasonable. I haven't heard this mentioned, but they also do your laundry every Monday! Wow! Lourdes, Carmen, Janet, and all of the other workers here are just amazingly friendly and kind. You really do feel like you're with family! And, like the other reviewers said, you will meet awesome people from all over the world. I am really going to miss the friends I made here and my "Spanish moms"! :) P.S. Things to keep in mind: bring ear plugs. Many rooms face the street, and there can be some noisy people walking up and down it at all hours. Also, during the summer, many groups of students stay here, some of which are noisier than others. Finally, not all rooms have air conditioning. If that's important to you, book as early as possible, because this fills up (for good reason)! :) Enjoy your stay! :)

The residencia caretakers are all very kind and are always willing to accommodate the needs of the residents, all you have to do is ask! The diversity of the residents provides ample opportunities to practice speaking Spanish and learn more about the other students that are attending classes at Mester, the University of Salamanca, and more. Every location I visited was in walking distance, and if eating out isn't your cup of tea, meals are provided throughout the day! For those who do not want to live with a host family yet still would like the chance to learn more about Spanish culture, Residencia Lourdes is the perfect location. Just don't be afraid to make errors when speaking Spanish, because the mere effort of conversing in another language is greatly appreciated! I'm so happy to have had the opportunity to live in this residencia, and in the clean and vibrant city of Salamaca. Te recomiendo que vengas aquí! Amable, cariñosa, y divertida; me encanta la gente.
Las empleadas de la residencia un 10. Ubicación 10. La dueña muy agradable en la entrevista inicial, vende muy bien el producto, luego es otro cantar. Estamos teniendo problemas para recuperar los dos meses pagados por anticipado en el momento de realizar la reserva, a pesar de no haber podido completar el curso por el covid-19. Ella justifica a su manera el cobro de un alto porcentaje de lo pagado y la residencia se cerró el 15 de marzo. Veremos como termina esta situación.
La Residencia está bien, con sus luces y sus sombras: sin embargo, este curso pasado aún no se ha devuelto el dinero de los meses de Mayo y Junio, algo solicitado de forma reiterada por las residentes que tuvieron que abandonar la estancia por culpa del Estado de Alarma. Se han interpuesto las reclamaciones pertinentes pero la dueña no responde. Si este año, como parece probable, vuelve a producirse una situación igual, es de temer que vuelva a ocurrir lo mismo. A tener en cuenta para las que deseen alojarse este curso. Si esto se corrige pronto, lo comentaré, pero esta es la situación a día de hoy, con expedientes abiertos en Consumo y a la espera de una respuesta de la propietaria.
En la línea de Javier estamos reclamando cntinuamente la devolución de los que se nos prometío una vez la residencia cerró el 15 de marzo por la crisis sanitaria COVID. Antes de pagar aconsejable dejar las cosas muy claras desde el principio
Un hogar. Muy bonita y bien equipada
La Residencia está situada en el Centro de Salamanca y es una excelente opción para alojarse en la ciudad, ya que todo queda cerca y puedes ir andando a cualquier sitio. Las habitaciones son cómodas, limpias, muy bonitas y originales. La comida está riquísima. El personal es muy amable y el trato maravilloso, como de familia. Volvería a esta residencia un millón de veces: la recomiendo a todo el mundo, por supuesto.
Sono stata in vacanza in questa splendida residenza di Lourdes Gil Delgado. L'ospitalità è unica, ho trovato persone competenti e amichevoli. La pulizia delle stanze è impeccabile e l'arredamento molto gradevole. La cucina, tipicamente legata al territorio è squisita. Consiglio vivamente di soggiornare in questa residenza anche per la sua ubicazione perfetta per chi intende visitare Salamanca.
