This is a lovely place to visit if you are ever in palma Majorca You get to see the table at the palace king Juan Carlos sits at while being on live tv and although quite a few rooms are quite sparse at the palace you still get to enjoy your experience of the place The surrounding area of the palace around the outside and near the cathedral has some lovely fountains ideal for taking photographs of yourself and whoever you are with Enjoy this palace and all it has to offer x

This is actually next to the cathedral but it had an equally long queue at 11AM so we were hoping, correctly, that the queue at 2 would be a lot less. It was 7 to get in and we spent quite a long time wandering through the rooms and enjoying the view from the terraces. It had huge windows and when it was restored they discovered a lot of the original paint and decoration, hidden under whitewash. This really did feel like a palace rather than a castle and for me it was certainly a lot more interesting than the cathedral. It was also fun watching the huge number of hawkers bundle their stuff into blankets and run away every time they spot a police officer and then return and lay it all out again a few minutes later.

Great view of history although there were some resrictions on the furniture within the palace, which prevented getting up close to the craftsmanship. The price of entry was affordable ( a proper bargain) and ultimately very much worth it. I would recommend going in small groups that would be able to take their time reading the information dotted around the palace as well bringing a camera for a few good shots.

A must-see historical attraction in the center of Palma. Free for European or South-American nationals at certain times. A lot of things to see (tapestries, the architecture in general and the paintings). Some rooms were interestingly furnished. You can also enjoy the amazing view from the terrace.
