Enjoyed wandering inside Castle Luna. Good location, right in town. Courtyard is beautiful! Unfortunately, you cannot go to the top, which I am sure would have a beautiful view of Rota.

There is a lot of history here. This castle has been built and rebuilt but has a wonderful history with Portugal, Spain, the Moors, etc.. Supposedly, The Columbus Expedition started here. The Castle fell into disrepair for many years and then the city repaired it and now city hall is here. It is charming and the views are amazing.

Totally local. The real deal. Prime location in one of the town squares. Food was excellent and great value for money. Good service but a little understanding of Spanish helpful as no English menu. But then that's what makes it!
