We visited this restaurant during The pick season, without a prior reservation. We ordered a couple of pizzas as a starter, Andrés enjoyed them a lot. The main courses included pasta and lasagna, and that was great too. The deserts were also good but they were not quite as enjoyable as the main courses. Setting in Altea's historical center was espectacular. We will definately be back again.

Reasonable food, although we weren't offered the specials menu until we requested it. Cleared the starter plates before we'd all finished, miserable (understatement) owner but friendly waitress. Overpriced but it's quaint and in Altea. Won't be rushing back.... Our experience isn't an isolated negative having reviewed TripAdvisor for example.

The chocolate cake is very heavy, ask for extra whipped cream.
