Rating based on food is five stars. Great size portions and taste of food was very good. However, their reservation mechanism sucks. You have to do a line even-though you reserve a week in advance and people that have not made a reservation get seated first, which defeats the whole purpose.

One of the best everyday casual restaurants in Barcelona. The food is delicious, portions are huge and the price is really good. Great ceviche, the steaks are really good also. Can't recommend enough.
Good ecuadorian food. Giving 4 stars just for the tarta de 3 leches. The portion sizes are huge, which is honestly a bit weird. But the food is generally good. Not amazing, but good. There was also a live band there.
El Ñaño was a pleasant discovery. The dishes were very generous and the service was more than excellent since the waiters will take their time to explain the dishes to you (At least in Spanish). The food was excellent so overall experience is 5/5!
The dishes are very large but this is mostly done with filler like large amounts of rice or plantain chips. Still, the fish was cooked well for a modest place. The prawns are perhaps overly battered and then come out dry. It’s not entirely clear what makes dishes stand out as being Ecuadorean but that might be my fault rather than theirs. You get a large mix of people here like young couples on dates and large families. It’s a well liked place. And then some random singers appear with face shields but not masks. And in coronavirus times, this isn’t very wise. I’ll be back at some point to try the passion fruit cheesecake.
