I have just stayed here for three nights, while teaching a course at the university.
My room was on the fifth floor, which is kept for hotel-like use, therefore out of reach for students.
The residence looks well, with rather new furniture and equipment. The location is good for reaching the Reina Mercedes campus, in a quiet neighborhood. Although it is a bit far from the city center, the connections by public transport are not bad.
The room was rather small, narrow, with a small bathroom as well. The bed was correct, a bit soft but not really uncomfortable. In addition to a closet and a desktop, the room had its own hob, microwave, fridge, and sink. There was also a small TV, but the watching angle made it impractical.
For amenities, there were just two little single-use packets of gel. There were a medium-size towel and a shower-size one.
During the three nights (four days) stay, there was no housekeeping at all. No bed making, no towels, toilet paper or amenities replacement, no room cleaning... Nothing.
Internet connection had to be paid apart (in my case, the hosting university was paying for it). There was no wifi, only cable connection, and the cables were delivered at an office opening 9-14 and 16-19. Arriving out of this range implied not having internet connection until the next day. It might be possible to ask for the cable in advance, so that the people at the reception desk (who were nice) have it ready at your arrival.
The breakfast was also included, sharing dining room and rules with the students. The rule was being allowed to choose just three units among the (not so many) choices, e.g. coffeetoastjuice or coffeeflakesfruit.
Summarizing, in my opinion the residence is conveniently located, quiet, and with good furniture, but it lacks some of the very basic features expected, even for a university residence (I have stayed at several).
