Absolutely disappointing! That on mountain huts and shelters the prices are usually a little higher, is not unusual. Also the fact that the menus are often simpler. But the experience as in this Refugie we had so far in no hut. We came in threes (2 adults and 1 child) and ordered: 2 breads with scrambled eggs between the breads 2 coffee with milk 1 orange lemonade 1 jug of water It all cost 42, - !!!! I asked again if the price was really serious. There was no table or card anywhere where you could see the prices in advance. The very young gentleman in the kitchen confirmed again the demanded amount. On and in the food I could nowhere recognize a special ingredient that could justify this usury. The ambience of the refuges and the sanitary facilities were no conclusions on this price. Everything was kept simple and after a while we realized that most locals brought their own food and drink. Presumably from the knowledge of the price expectations of the Refuges. This refugie will NEVER see us again as guests !!!!

Great refuge. 3 friends and I enjoyed its \emergency\ side (when the full refuge is closed, aka no services) on 10/2016 for 1 night. It is made of 2 rooms, the first one which has 3 different tables and benches with a fireplace in the middle, and the second is a nice dorm with a few windows which can be open or closed, with a comfortable capacity of at least 20 people (on 3 levels). There were only 5 mattresses, though, and maybe 10 blankets, so plan on your own pads and sleeping bags in case there are quite a few people. I found the area very pleasant with the river right In front of the refuge and accessibility to the Santa Maurici lake and major trailheads 15min away, but unfortunately there was trash all over the place, and I ended up spending an hour filling up a full trash bag of plastic wrappers and other trash thrown away up to right on front of he refuge door. I recommend the place though, so long as we keep it clean and pleasant!!
Very friendly Refugi warden but this hut is very very basic and does not justify the cost for staying here.

La parte libre está bien en cuanto a espacio y la estufa funciona bien, limpieza más bien justita (culpa de los usuarios). Sólo hay una manta y casi no hay leña. No sé si fue por la fecha o suele ser así, pero un refugio libre debería estar mejor equipado. Situación muy buena.
