Amazing empinadas everything is made fresh! Don't be surprised if you have to wait a little if it's busy, it's well worth it. Great owners! So friendly and accommodating. But the YUKA BALLS WITH CHEESE, to die for. Unbelievably amazing... A must have every time you go. Also delicious desserts and milkshakes. Love this place already, will be back on a regular basis.

Good food, good location in Argüelles and good taste of Dominican Republic. Have to improve the client service.

Best empanadas I've ever had! The portions were HUGE and a very good value! I also had the ferrero rocher milkshake and it was amazing..creamy and sweet!

Follow my best reviews on Instagram @comfortcomida This is the first place in Madrid that I've found that makes traditional Dominican "pastelitos" (empanadas). What I love is that their dough almost tastes baked! They also have a ton of fillings (even eggplant and cheese!) and the cheese itself is delicious . I totally recommend the ternera, pasas, and queso and if your a student, get the combo! (5 small empanadas and a drink for 6,50!)

A tried and true family recipe always makes for the best dishes, and the story of Keyaan’s in Madrid proves it. After uncovering a hidden talent for creating empanadas, combined with his own version of his mother’s recipe, Aderly Ramirez decided to share his Dominican cuisine with the community. With traditional ingredients and culinary techniques that have been passed from generation to generation, Keyaan’s offers legitimately authentic cuisine from the Dominican Republic. Lunch at Keyaan’s, with my friend by my side, was a wonderful experience. It was fun to meet the owners and learn all about their story. My friend was new to Dominican food, so we had to sample a little bit of everything. I think I’m spoiled now, because no other empanadas will ever compare to the veal and vegetable empanada and the veal, raisin and cheese empanada my friend ordered. The dough is made fresh each day, and the empanadas are fried to order. Each bite delivers a mix of crispy dough overflowing with fillings, that isn’t the slightest bit greasy. She loved the mix of flavors with the salty meat and sweetness of the fruit. Even though the empanadas fill most of the menu at Keyaan’s, it’s worth saving room for some of the other delicious offerings, like bollitos de yuca. These balls of yucca are stuffed with gouda cheese and fried, leaving a melty, buttery filling that is just fantastic. My friend sampled a side of quipes, which are fried balls of bulgur wheat dough, stuffed with tender, juicy chicken. She said they were a perfect balance of flavor without heaviness. With exotic flavors like passion fruit and papaya, milkshakes were our go-to for something sweet after. I loved the passion fruit milkshake, which was pleasantly sweet and creamy, while my friend raved about the papaya milkshake. Keyaan’s is a must!

The milkshakes are legit and not the flavored milk I end up getting in Spain. The empanada was amazing too!
