The best thing from our visit was the pitcher of sangria at 9. Otherwise the food was nothing to write home about as the roast ham was overcooked and came with nothing on the plate. The sole skin unfortunately was not crisp and half the fish was mushy. And yes, as others have noted, they do charge .70 for each piece of bread, 1 for a small pat of butter and 2.50 for small French fries. Service was okay and the atmosphere way too noisy.

Good Puplo but nothing special. Apparently this is a very famous place (lots of famous people's pictures near the toilet)! The price are higher than usual (3 euros for potatoes), and you can get the same quality of food but better value elsewhere in Galicia! They also have 10euros lunch menu - but no Puplo or pimentos.

Best pulpo I have ever had! Casual place so don’t expect Michelin dining. What they do, they do well.

Nice food and a very friendly staff. One of the best places in the Portuguese Way to Santiago

I just loved it. The Padron peppers typical from this lovely location are just amazing and here is one of the top 5 places in Padron to try them. I ordered the Padron peppers with a bottle of albariño wine from the house in it was just delicious, the leftover of the wine went with me the whole next day to Santiago de Compostela since this town is the last stop before the city and was my first toast in fron of the cathedral. If you want lovely Galician octopus (pulpo gallego), Padron peppers (pimientos del padron) and the typical albariño wine, stopping at this place is a must. The atmosphere is amazing and the service is awesome. For me there was nothing better than to have my Padron peppers with my wine during that rainy afternoon in Padron.
