The German chain store of supermarkets, Aldi, vary from country to country reflecting that countries tastes and preferences, this one in Spain differs from our local one in Narbonne in several ways. Its generally overall cheaper and sells that old English favourite 'thick cut breakfast bacon' sheets of spare ribs as well as a wide range of frozen fish/shellfish products sold loose (unpacked) you simply scoop up as many delicious prawns or any other choice according to your taste and pop them in a bag. Aldi are to be applauded for this approach as it cuts down unnecessary plastic/cardboard packaging. We love it and you will too !
