The taste is very good ! I think it worth 4.2 points but since now the score is too low so I gave 5 stars.

I was really excited about eating at this restaurant, but sadly the food didn't live up to my expectations. The decor and ambience of the restaurant is fantastic but the food was bland and tasteless. I had croquettes for starters: boletus and prawn and both versions tasted the same, but not of boletus or prawn - just bland. The seafood salad was well presented, but lacked something citrus like a vinagreta or lemon seasoning. The duck for mains was a bit on the rare side and the potatoes au gratin were hard. The main dishes were served almost cold. The best dish was the creme bruleé. Bookings can be made via the www and you can get up to 40% off meals from the menu, excluding drinks. Prices are reasonable, but bottles of wine are seriously overpriced.

It’s not fusion, but it’s something more than that. Petit Comité in Madrid serves traditional Spanish cuisine with a French influence. The chef selects only the finest quality ingredients, which are native to the cuisine, to create unique yet authentic dishes which surely satisfy. My friend and I were strolling through the Chueca neighborhood when he mentioned lunch at Petit Comité. I loved the way the restaurant was designed, and could sense the comfortable, relaxing atmosphere as soon as I entered. The black tile bricks that make up the bar and the exposed ventilation add an industrial feel, while the natural brick walls and light wood floors warm things up. We split a starter of Petit Comité croquettes, each homemade, and we opted for one of each of the trio offering, including boletus edulis mushroom, monkfish and shrimps, and bleu cheese with walnuts. The croquettes were crispy, the texture was excellent, and each one had a distinct flavor. He shared a taste of his salmon tartare starter with me, which had tomato concassé, avocado, scallion and escarole. The fish tasted so fresh, and the creamy avocado and acidic tomato paired perfectly. In exchange, I let him sample my mushroom salad with duck ham, foie mi cuit, apple, pine nuts and balsamic vinegar, which was also incredible. For my main lunch, I enjoyed grilled squid with caramelised red onions, romescu sauce and potato chips. My friend opted for a duck breast fillet with cranberry sauce and a celery bouquet. The presentation on both dishes was beautiful, and I was amazed that the flavor was even more amazing! We finished our meal by sharing broken Idiazabal cheesecake coated with fig paste and Patxaran candy. It was unlike anything else I’ve ever had and truly magnificent. I highly recommend Petit Comité!

The food is good but I’ve been here two times and the service is bad and the waiters are rude. We have ordered one dish to share among 6 people and our order was taken, when the dish was brought to the table it had 4 pieces and we asked if it was for 6 people and we were informed only after asking that it was for 4 people as they didn’t have enough for 6. We wanted to return and ask for something else in return and we were told that we would still be charged as we have ordered it and it was prepared, so we accepted to keep it and two people didn’t want eat. When the bill came, we saw that we were charged for 6 people portion for that dish, and when we asked them to change it we were told that we have accepted the dish, we had to argue and convince them to charge us for only 4. Long story short, there are a lot of good restaurants in Madrid don’t waste your nice moments and money on this establishment.

Romantic environment ideal for couples or small groups. Tables not too close together. Great service. Amazing lamb and steak both perfectly cooked. Really enjoyed our meal here. Wine a little pricey.
