Amazing bread. Heard about this place reading online and figured my husband and I could grab some along with cheese and do a cheaper sandwich lunch on our own, since it’s very pricey to eat out every meal while traveling. All the breads are fermented. Note, if you are interested in getting cheese - you have to check out the cheese shop next door!

Walk in and the place immediately smells like fresh sourdough. The basic bread has a thick sturdy crust and an extremely chewy stretchy texture. It has a strong sourdough flavor. Great loaf of bread
Honestly is the best bread I have eaten in Madrid! I’m glad I found this place and so close from home. Only thing is you have to reserve ahead of time cuz is soo good it goes quick!

Amazing bread in this artisanal bakery in Conde Duque area. Need to call ant make a reservation for buying bread before going as they sells a lot. Try their croissants as well, delicious!
