Delicious japanese patisserie in Madrid! Beautiful place, very well ventilated, with doors open and plenty of light, which is great in Covid19 times. Our waitress was very sweet and english-spoken. English menu available as well, so very convenient. But sweets and tea drinks are soo good. We ordered fluffy pancakes, very fluffy indeed and delicious. Mochi are quite big with a rich mousse filling, and cotton cheesecake was also as we expected, addictive airy texture and subtle lemony cream cheese and egg flavor. We tried many cheesecakes in Spain (apparently it is a trend now), but way to strong flavor for my palate. Cotton cheesecake were the best cheesecake I've tried in Spain, and if you don't like strong cheese flavor, you will be in love with this one as well. It was remarkable that most of the food and drinks are made to order, customizable (soy milk, non gluten, vegan...etc) and you can watch the staff while making it. Amazing place. Will be back soon.

The brunch is 20 which isn't bad, but the quality of the food could be better. The staff need to be friendlier and more available. Pancakes are beautiful and fun, but they're not a huge deal. And the taste could be improved, they're a bit bland. Also, it takes around 30-40 minutes to make the pancakes, but don't know why... Other items on the menu aren't good. We ordered brioche with scrambled eggs, tomato and avocado. There were three tiny slices of avocado, normal cheap bread instead of brioche and instead of scrambled eggs it was an omelette, which they claim is how they serve their scrambled eggs. Included in the brunch is a bowl of fruit, not a big deal, tasted good, but it's not seasonal fruit and it seems like something you could buy in Mercadona or any other random place. It could be better. The restaurant has a great location and interior design, but they must improve the quality of their food and not rely only on one beautiful dish as is the case of the fluffy pancakes. However, if they continue to have an arrogant attitude and don't improve the quality of their other dishes on the menu, I cannot see how this place will thrive.

I was very surprised. I could taste the same flavor that we have in Japan. High quality japanese bakery and sweets. When tried, you can tell mochi and dorayaki are made by hand. Cheesecake and flufy pancakes are great in flavor and texture. Staff very kind. Clean and nice interior, with plenty of wood that make you feel confortable.

I had high hopes for the cotton cheesecake. We picked up a freshly baked cake and it doesn't move like you see in the videos. It tasted more of egg than a cheescake, but I'm glad I tried it. I picked it up at 18 and it was still warm inside.

Lovely japanese place. Ideal to try some different sweets and drinks. A lot of matcha options. Even though it’s a bit overpriced it’s worth it to go to try some really good things like their matcha dorayaki.

Incredibly rude staff. For my first time there I had a booking because the place gets quite full. You have to book for HATTORI HANZO as per they’re own advertising. When I arrived, the waitress rudely told me that I need to have dinner as it is “time to have dinner now”. Nowhere in the booking does it say that they do not serve coffee or dessert at that time. And nowhere in the booking does it state that there’s a minimum per person. I would understand if was asking to have dinner outside of hours, but surely they can serve coffee and dessert at any time. The waitress repeated that I can only have dinner, because of course they want to charge the full menu option price. Food may be great, I’ll never know, but if you treat your customers with that rudeness, the place will always be as empty as it was when I was there. Piece of advice: do not lecture your customers about proper dinner times. No one wants that.

Amazing desserts. Found this place on GoFoodie but it only opens after the lunch

Brunch here was amazing and the quality and taste of the food is similar to that in Japan. Service was fantastic, we received great food recommendations and the food came fairly quickly.
