A most fascinating 13th Century Franciscan Monastery, with unbelievable history linked to Christopher Columbus - and beautifully restored. Well worth the effort to take the time to visit. A short bus journey from Huelva (20mins), costing just 1.75 each way. The Bus Driver (Damas Bus Company) was very helpful.

You can feel the history inside the Walls of The monastery. The paintings inside are beautiful. The free audioguide was very inreresting and useful. A beautiful sight! Highly recommend. Also The children (5,10) survived very good there.

It was such an amazing experience. It really worth the time to go there and check out this beautiful, historical place. They also offer audio guidance in many languages.
