Useless! Was handed a wrong form to fill out by a cheeky women who complained about why didn’t I go to another police station to report my lost passport, then left for two hours. A second officer then came out gave me the right form who was the first nice and polite officer I dealt with that day and then left and then over an hour later a different woman came out to tell me they can not help with lost passports obviously knowing this from the beginning but they obviously do just none of them could be bothered. Have no to racism posters up but far from respectful to tourists as they were way more helpful and nicer to locals that where in the same day. Wasted a day travel to this place, sitting in it and travelling back all the mot get my passport sorted within the day needed to be.

The Policia Local de Palma gave a lot of effort in writing a very detailed report about the loss of two new Rolex watches we just had bought locally. They promised to check all available video surveillance to find out who took our property. Inspector 783 and 869 thank you that you cared so much. Muchas gracias.

On my holiday I visited Castell de Bellver, when I was looking to park my car at the castle entrance two police cars one came and blocked the front of my car and the other one the back, probably this is the standard procedure to catch criminals. One police officer asked me where I am from ,whats my nationality ,I replied :Romanian, then he said that there are Romanian offenders in Palma and because I am Romanian he needs to question me and search my car and my belongings. I told the police officers that not all Romanians are offenders, but they searched my car and my stuff. I was extremely insulted by the Palma police officers, doing searches based on Nationality and race ,is unprofessional ,racist and offending . If they had told me that they are doing an routine check without mentioning any time the basis of selection ,nationality, race etc. ,it would been perfectly fine ,I understand that they need to do their job .
