You want to visit this Palace-Fortress if you are in Onil. It has a very interesting Museo de la Fiestas de Moros y Cristianos with costumes displays and artifacts dating back to the 19th century. It is a tribute to the town's history and people. It also possesses a newer section covering the Reyes Magos (the Magi of Jesus' story) Tradition of gift offering on January 6th. This is a wonderful experience; children get to see the Throne Chairs of the Magi, the guiding Star as well as other artifacts. All of this is housed on this very well preserved Fortress with an interior cloister worth the trip.
like
It is an old palace which looks like a castle. It used to be the town hall and now has been turned into a museum.
