The Renaissance-style palace is more modern (16th century) and stands in contrast with the mostly Islamic buildings in the Alhambra. It boasts an two-tier inner circular patio. There are two museums inside, the \Museo de la Alhambra\ and \Museo de Bellas Artes\.

Simplistic Beauty. Architecture at its best.

This palace seems quite odd in the middle of the Alhambra site as it’s not in keeping with the rest of the buildings. But it’s still worth a visit. It’s free to enter and there is a museum with art on display and the central circular courtyard is impressive. I never did find out why they put ornate metal handles all around the outer wall of the building

among the Muslim palace buildings, The Emperor Charles V let build the Renaissance style Palace, you feel the strong Intension of efforts in religion impress extremely in Granada, anyway - a little confused expression if you came inside to the round yard. Amazing effect but in terms of acoustics, you hear at the centre very clearly the talking people in different radius.

Fine palace indeed. Worth dropping in as you walk around during the Alhambra hilltop. Spectacular circular court, inspired by ancient Roman architecture. I do not really recommend the Museum of Fine Arts: no piece of significance, with the exception, in my view, of the huge canvas on the departure of the last Arab governor of Granada. We could not get into the Museum de la Alhambra as it was closed.
