I was all alone in the tourist office on a midweek day on October 18th. I must say that the male attendant wasn't friendly at all and didn't try to answer my questions at his best. Again I was all alone. It's not like he had to answer the questions to a massive crowd of tourists. You do this, you do that...it was all very vague while he could have helped me do a walking tour of the city that makes you visit the best of Valencia in one day. Anyhow, I figured out that the red dot lines on the map must have been scenic routes and I did a walking tour on my own. At the end it made me cover the best of Old Valencia. If you don't like to interact with people, you got the wrong job. If you are tired of repeating the same things all over again to tourists, you got the wrong job. It's that easy! But don't send people away in one snap because you can't stand your job anymore.

The staff there is not able to speak even a simple short sentence in English. Furthermore they can hardly understand English or Castellano and are not well informed about important things like public transport.
