Bring warmer clothes than you'd wear in the city. It's gets pretty chilly, and the tables are all outside. The place and the experience were great though. Saw the rings of Saturn really clearly, and heard an interesting talk about the seasons (in Spanish).

My pictures really don’t do the stunning view justice. My family went in July 2018 (little did we know it would be the last “formal” dinner we had with my dad ever as he passed away unexpectedly 3 months later) and the experience was incredible. We were late to the event (it was A winding TRIP going up there) and rushed into dinner. Table was reserved for us and vegetarian meal option was available. Waiters were super nice, attentive, and asked nicely if we needed anything in very appropriate timing/manner (very surprised! great service for Spanish standard). English was not an issue at all. After dinner we were told to gather inside for the tour and the view! English tour consisted of 3 families (including mine) and it was quite nice to see everyone enjoying themselves inside the building. Tour was nice and sweet (mainly about history of the building). The most memorable part was definitely the starry sky and the breathtaking view of the city, probably the most stunning, jaw dropping view I’ve ever seen of Barcelona. Imagine every building visible glistening in contrast of dark sky decorated with sparkling stars...my dad couldn’t put down his camera to capture the beauty of all it all...anyway you have to see it for yourself. I guess with event like this, the weather is everything. The only tiny complaint we had is the transportation going down the mountain after event is over. Wish it could have been prearranged because it got cold while waiting in the dark for a taxi at night. Otherwise the whole experience is very well worth the price in our opinion! Needless to say this beautiful memory will last in our hearts forever...

The dinner was amazing! The talk was very informative although a bit basic and using the telescope was great too!

I booked dinner for 2 in observatory fabra this summer and it didn’t go as I planned. They sell it as a gourmet experience with great views of Barcelona, but in my personal experience, food was horrible (precooked, cold and overpriced), plus the visit guide boring and too long. Also my personal expiration was even worst. I went there twice. The first time we arrived and after 1 hour freezing outside we started the lame tour. They didn’t showed as the telescope because they said it “might rain” . After hours standing up hearing about old catalan powerful families they informed there wasn’t going to be dinner because it was windy and there were risks of rain. It was unbelievable, their work is just about if its going to rain or not and they had to cancel because weather! We asked them to compensate in some way but they said it wasn’t their fold.¿Who was it then? This is please in the meadle of nowhere in the mountain of Barcelona so they should have at list a plan B for all this people who have spend hundreds of euros for, at least, a good dinner. Second time was as lame as first, the telescope was available. Don’t have great expectation because you will only see a white point in a computer screen from the 90’s and a grumpy woman \letting\ the group see directly from the telescope treating us like if we were a school. I could write a book about it but you get the point. NOT WORTH IT

The dining under he stars experience was beautiful in sight, history, and telescope experience. Although, I have to say the food courses were subpar, can't say I was in the least bit satisfied with the dining portion, the fish was average and the meat was flavorless. Upon arrival of the appetizer it was swarmed with a few bees(understandable being in the mountains) but the menu should definitely be revised. To conclude on a positive note, the dessert was spectacular and the gentlemen guiding our tour was enthusiastic and visually showed a passion for astronomy.
