The food itself is ok but I do think you can get better in the restaurants or just buy at the market and cook yourselves. The scallops, clams and oysters are tiny - inadequate representations of what there is on offer in O Grove. For example the display tanks have lobster, different types of crabs, a shellfish called santiaguiños but you can't buy them. The atmosphere is good though in the evenings. Food wise, steamed mussels, razor clams, fideos and arroz were all good. The turbot looked good value but didn't try it. I've wanted to go to this feria for years, but my advice would be to not travel specifically here at this time of year just for this.

One of the culinary highlights of the Galician year. Traditional music, dance, and handicrafts on display but above all is the local seafood. Simple and delicious. Don't miss it.
