Well my personal experience with Hertz - Malaga Maria Zambrano Railway Station was great. I took a car for 2 weeks, then I prolonged it without any problem simply by phone and got the discount. Totally Fiat 500 was cost me for one month 568 including insurance, without insurance the price could be 357, but you know in that case I doubt the return will be without any arguments. Anyway I never dealt with any rental which has absolutely positive ratings but this time everything was really fine.

Long Read. Firstly being a gold hertz member has no meaning here at all. I had to wait in the same line for the person to attend to me as the other person was busy on a phone call for over 25 minutes. Secondly they did not have the car I booked so she said I am upgrading you, and ended up giving me a smaller car with no luggage room. Despite me showing Teresa(the lady at the counter) my 2 suitcases. This rental process took over an hour, only to go to the basement and find the car too small. Came back up with my 1 year old baby and lugging the heavy car seat from the counter and again stood in line for 15 minutes to get the car changed with a bigger boot. To add to that the car was dirty, it had empty packets thrown around, even the front windscreen was not cleaned, which made it impossible to drive at night without pulling over and cleaning it. I was not informed anything about the fuel that goes into the car. It was definitely the worst ever experience from hertz, plus on the billing I just received, I noticed I have been charged for a person insurance, which I never opted for/nor was I told at the counter. To add to the horror the minute I got out of the parking I noticed the car kept giving me reminders that the service is due. By now I had reached a point where I just decided to carry on with my trip, because I did not want to go back with my 1 year old baby who had been waiting and shuffling between the parking and hertz counter for now 2 and a half hours.

Very convenient, although finding garage entrance can be a challenge as it's around the back of the station. But if you follow the signs for underground parking you'll see a small Hertz sign. Unlike an airport drop off there's no attendant waiting; Park in a space marked for Hertz, lock the car, take the parking ticket and go into the station next to the platforms to the office where they will take the keys.

Hertz in Zambrano train station is the Worst! They are Thieves! We were double billed, charged for an upgrade and fuel. After we returned the car. Barclaycard Master card sides with Hertz. They even gave us an incorrect email address to send our dispute letter. Do Not Rent from Hertz!

Got scammed for a full fuel refill at this station. Delivered my reciepts at the station and when I got the bill they had charged for fuel which i certanly refilled. Impossible to contact them afterwards. Although Hertz back in Norway tried to help me it was no use. In adittion it was a very long waiting time.

Initially One day car rental where they agreed to simply extend to two days if I didn’t bring it back on time, as wasn’t sure about my plans. I extended. Teresa was great, friendly and efficient. Great price. Nice car. Couldn’t fault anything. Car park a bit “narrow” on exit and entrance but not much they can do about that as located under the main train station.
