Museum well presented everything. Ideal for hanging out. It is ideal to hang out and learn more about the history and our ancestors, as well as activities such as concerts or some guided tours. A museum in the city center. It is in the heart of the capital of the island of Santa Cruz de Tenerife.

Informative Museum about Canary Islands, several floors. At the highest floor there are mummies and even a fetus mummy - be aware if you go there, some might it find disturbing. Minus point: descriptions are only in Spanish.

What a gem of a restaurant this is at the Museum - a lovely tranquil spot after the busy streets of Santa Cruz. There's a lovely courtyard partially outside/ under cover but it was a bit windy today so we ate inside. It's a bit arty with lots of mosaic on the bar and walls and unusual plates and bowls and cutlery. We had the set lunch menu at 13 which was a real bargain. Three courses and included a drink. We both had a smoked salmon and salad starter - very tasty and well presented followed by one spaghetti with prawns and one callamari - not large potions but very good quality. Followed by chocolate mousse and we finished off with barraquito. The staff were super nice and helpful. Nothing to complain about at all and we hope to go back next week

Enjoyable, but none of the descriptions of the museum's items are in English (understandably). Worth a visit though. It was free (went on a Friday, might have been a one off).

For those of curious mind who would like to know more about the formation of this island, the people who’ve inhabited it and especially the flora and fauna, this museum is a great stop. I especially appreciated the discount offered to teachers and the narrated tour available on the website that we used. I would suggest that perhaps the museum rethink The lights being able to shut off unexpectedly while in the room with the mummies. I can imagine that this could possibly traumatize a young visitor and I know that’s not your objective. Thank you for a great experience and additional insights into your beautiful island. We learned a lot.
