Plaza de las Palmas,

Very small market at plaza in front of San Gines Church. Good variety of fresh fruits and vegetables...some quite pricey. Delicious homemade mojos, local wines, jams, cheese, etc. I bought a bottle of Malvasía wine and mojos. Worth going if already in Arrecife, but not worth a trip just for the market.

Well I'm sure it would be good if it was actually there. Turned up on a Wednesday and it was nowhere to be seen
There was no market today (Wednesday 18th September), despite it being published as being held Wedmesdays and Thursdays. As such, I am unable to comment on the actual market....but poor information on Google searches.
Not that great, wouldn't recommend, about 10 stalls all at the hard sell. Bags drop from 25 to 15 Euros rapid when no interest shown.
This market should be prosecuted under the trade description act, theres about 10 stalls. Dont bother.
