Fuengirola, Spain
Calle Recinto Ferial,

A very good way of pottering around on a Tuesday morning. The aisle of fruit and veg is spectacular.

Massive market that you could spend several hours looking round. Open every Tuesday and plenty of stalls from clothing, linens, luggage, bags, footwear, toys, electrical, household goods, confectionary. There were also some of the local street traders around but were not hassling you to buy like they do on the street. Local police presence so I think they would be made to leave.
I've been going to the market in Fuengirola for years, the main highlight of which is the aisle dedicated to all the fruit and vegetable vendors. All of their produce is very fresh and priced very cheap when compared to other shops and supermarkets. This was one of our favourite places to go while on holiday to Fuengirola where we would pick up fruit and veg to do us for the week.
Plenty of interesting stalls. A good morning or afternoon out. Not to big to get round everything unlike suggested in another post. Watch the prices and you can get a bargain. The flea market on Saturday is also interesting. Plenty of old Spanish stuff and again some bargains to be had. Bought a lovely oil painting for 7 as they were closing. A bit of restoration required but looks fabulous now.
So much on offer some bargains to be had ...love it here
