Travelling from Malaga to Marbella. I was in a panic as my phone was not working. I got off at Marbella bus station and decided to walk to the centre with lady who lived in the centre. After 2 minutes I realised I had forgot to take my luggage from the bus luggage storage. I ran back to the station and asked at the office not able to speak Spanish but a very kind helpful gentleman helped me. Made some phone calls and took me to the buses and asked around. Eventually we found the bus it didn't leave for the next journey. The driver opened the luggage compartment and there was my bag sat all alone. I was so relieved I nearly cried. Many thanks to the gentleman who helped me. He said don't worry it happens every day

Asked for tickets for 1845 bus to the airport and was told there wasn't one despite the timetable in the station stating there was. Front of house staff were extremely rude and cheeky and kept telling us we and the timetable were wrong. Guess what, bus arrived at 1840 and we only got it thanks to the driver of the bus. Reception staff knew they were wrong but refused to acknowledge. The male receptionist laughed at my gf when she tried to buy the ticket, no wonder they have very poor reviews.

What is the point of spending vast amounts of money on a super busy station if you only have one out of the four cashiers open? Not good enough. At least get a self service ticket machine

No direct trains to and from Malaga Centro Alameda or Malaga Maria Zambrano (central station). Instead there are old, inefficient, polluting, dirty, loud and poorly maintained coaches that take forever to get anywhere, are always late and are . PROs better than going from A to B on a skateboard CONs - nothing in English despite Marbella being a holiday hotspot for mainly British tourists - coaches are outdated, uncomfortable, cramped, smelly, slow, inefficient, harmful for the environment, noisy and chronically late - expensive for the poor service - terrible arrival and departure times
