A hidden gem in Poblenou. This deli has a big range of quality Italian products that you won’t find anywhere around. The tomato pizza base they make it’s top notch (you possibly stop ordering pizza since you try it!) The staff is very friendly and they’re always happy to share some recipe’s tips. Fairly price.

Excellent "new entry" in the Poblenou. Lots of good Italian products at fair prices. I particularly like the cold cuts, pre-sliced, kept in long-lasting airtight wraps and sold in small quantities so you can try different things. The "porchetta" was surprisingly good. Do check out the fridge area, there are lots of good things to try there (including fresh pasta). Service always super-friendly and competent. The one aspect where they could improve is wine, as they have only a few bottles and quality is not great. But I do realize that wine selling is a whole different business and perhaps it does not make sense to invest too much in that, although I have to say that while it is easy to buy good Spanish wine in this barrio the same cannot be said for Italian wine, so I suspect there may be a market for it.

Compré sólo una cerveza italiana y una tónica. Al día siguiente volví porque la cerveza estaba caducada y la tónica al abrirla tenía óxido. Esto puede pasar, no hay problema.. pero que tuviera que insistir en que quería que me devolvieran el dinero y no un vale del importe para una próxima compra lo veo indignante. A mi no me verán más.
