OcuPharm was created in the year 2006 as a CRO (Contract Research Organization) spin-off company of the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, aimed at the exploitation of scientific experience in the fields of biochemistry, neurochemistry, ocular pathology, molecular biology, molecular pathology and pharmacology. The company with its group of multidisciplinary professionals, currently maintains a large number of business partnerships, providing services to biotechnology companies in basic science, preclinical testing relating to drug studies, biochemical, pharmacological studies related to physiology of the eye and its diseases and clinical trials related to contact lenses, eye drops, gels and ointments.
