This bakery is frequently referred to in the media, well know for croissants, chocolate cakes, roscón de reyes, etc. Hence the expectation was high. Prices are inline with its area (expensive), but products are good quality and well executed. Service is not up to the standards and make you feel like they are doing you a favor.

Roscon was good but please don't lie to customers. I called 3 days before the King's day to book a french galette and my interlocutor told me no problem, just come early as we don't do booking. I got there at 8am, queued for 20min in the cold to finally hear without no empathy: \we don't do galette\ without trying to explain why someone told me otherwise. Bad experience for my first try with you, luckily I found one on calle de Velazquez. I know where I'll go next year...
Cute, clean and calm Pricey store but marvelous quality. It's worthwhile to save the money of 2-3 cheap sweets for this. Pleasant service and take-away was perfectly arranged. The location is outstanding too, just a bit far from Retiros entrance as you have to border the highway to pass.
