Very good priced cocktails and in the middle of a good neighborhood where you can either end up or go to other places easily, a very Spanish thing to do. The bartender is very nice and the drinks are generous. I heard there are nights with live music as well, but haven't seen that yet. Do book a place in advance, because there are only a few tables! Seats are very comfortable btw

My most beloved place in Madrid. We always order capirina and moscow mule. So perfectly prepared that it's already our tradition here. We enjoy drinks and the place. Mr. bartender Carlos will always prepare a drink for you, which you will enjoy, additionally makes the atmosphere in the place so friendly and relaxing. A wonderful atmosphere, jazz, aesthetics, photos of the biggest jazz stars, wooden bar. You can blend in here and forget about everything. If I were a writer, I would probably hide here during the day, waiting for inspiration :) I am happy that I found you!
I stumbled into this bar at 2am after hearing jazz and seeing a ton of people packed into this fork in the road. I walked in and was alone but everyone was having a good time, ordering drinks, and hanging out. The best staff were super nice. One of them is from Florida and amazed me with his passion bartending. I ordered a Manhattan that was a tad expensive but the cost was worth the conversation I had with the bartender and the care he put into making it. 10/10 if you want a nice end to your bar crawl, make this your last stop.
This was probably the best bar we visited during our time in Madrid it just happened to be the first one we visited!! from the moment we arrived we that we knew we had arrived in a really special place. The bar staff were so friendly and when they discovered our interest in Gin they brought out a selection of Gins for us to try. The gins that we chose were extremely reasonably priced and we had great discussions with the staff over the course of the next 3 hours. Our only regret was that we were unable to return during the next couple of days. it is a must see place with a really really cool vibe and wonderful background jazz music!!

Probably I had expected too much. It’s famous for jazz music(I read it on lonely planet), but actually it’s still a normal bar. Can’t really feel more cultural impression. A quiet bar, good for chatting with friends, that’s all. Staff is nice, but the benches are a bit narrow and not really comfortable.
Absolutely fantastic bar! Laid back vibe with excellent bartenders. The music and decor are spot on and on my second and third visit (it is that good), the bartenders and waitresses called me by name as I entered the door! I would highly recommend!
