The Faro de Moncloa is a transmission tower and observation desk which is some way off the main tourist circuit in Madrid. An interesting visit and not very expensive at 3, but you should probably book in advance because the tickets are timed. The views from the observation deck are amazing and there the usual information boards with photos and explanations of the views. As it's some way off the main tourists sights, it's good to combine a visit to Faro de Moncloa with Museo de America which is only 5 minutes walk away.

It’s really touristy to come to observation decks but to be honest it’s worth the 3 to see a different aspect of Madrid. Your photos will have a glare of the glass and you can’t put your camera or phone lens against the glass since there is a barrier, but it’s still worth it.
