This unassuming restaurant in the back end of nowhere was a surprising delight to dine at. From the exterior it doesn't look like anything exciting, but nothing could be further from the truth once you sink your teeth into the flavoursome food on offer cooked up by owner/chef 'El Flaco' a.k.a . Andy Boman. Incorporating Thai flavours in their dishes, be prepared to be taken on journey of pure delight. The waitir are incredibly professional and will explain what to appreciate from each dish. The food is not as spicy as some reviews have said - it's exactly how it should be for Thai cuisine.

We came from Bilbao for lunch and were told kitchen closes at 15:30. We arrived later than that due to delays in our schedule but were still welcomed warmly. The food is amazing: Pork Bao is a flavorful combination of sweet, sour, salty, and the mint adds a kick, the Green Curry is a great interpretation of the Thai version, it uses smoky sauteed vegetables which adds an unusual flavour to the typical sweet and spicy potpourri. The seafood in the curry is super fresh and cooked a point, My wife is Thai and we both loved it! I have no words for the creme brulee. Bravo!

We were here on our first night in Madrid. The food was outstanding- a unique combination of flavors and beautiful presentations. We returned tonight on our last night, after 8 days of food and drink around Madrid. Again, it was simply amazing! The fusion of tastes and the presentation are second to none! Thank you to all involved st El Flaco for a perfect last evening in your wonderful city
