Loved the free tour. Our guide Alvaro was quirky and had great information related to the intrastory of how Villa del Madrid came to be. Although he tended to focus a little too much on a certain painter at the end. You can choose to tip the tourist if you wish.

Great tour for couples, really informative and helps to highlight things that one would not otherwise know. Our guide Alessandra delivered a flawless tour and it was a shame she could not take us to St Peter’s Basilica due to Covid-19 rules. A word of caution for families with small children, however; the tour is a little on the longer side (/- 3 hours), so it might be wise to carry strollers and the like.

Everything you want to know about places to visit in Madrid including tours. The staff seem to be happier talking on the phone than helping people in the shop, worth a visit if you dont know the city and you have a few hours spare.
