This museum is an excellent house museum in Madrid, with a boggling variety of many objects. Walking inside sort of feels like entering an alternate dimension of time and space, as the house is well preserved and looks much larger inside than it does from without. The temporary exhibits are also always interesting.
Very nice musuem. It actually used to be a private residence for the Cerralbo Family and it has a nice collection of paintings and the decoration is nice.
This is a stupendous example of how the upper classes lived in 1850-1910. Spend an hour admiring the fully furnished rooms and imagining what life was like for the Marquee and his class. Highly recommend!
Loved this pLace! If you are into palaces, castles and mansions you should go here. Very over the top and amazing.
